2009 was a pretty big year for me and my photography... I feel like this is when it all really started. I got my new camera in the summer and just can't stop snapping pictures. I have decided to re-cap in just nine photos, and these may not be my "best shots" but rather just a few personal favorites. Enjoy, and happy New Year!

These stunning children just happen to be my amazing siblings; Alicia, Cody, Jenny, and Ben. Just some quick shots we took but I love them and feel the need to show them off :) I also adore the chicken-coop in the background that sits behind my grandma's house!

These are my cousins that I did a really quick photoshoot with on Thanksgiving, and I must admit, they are rather adorable. My grandma's house ended up providing some great backgrounds and I'm so glad I could get these!

A little over a year ago my good friend Brianna got married. Back then I couldn't believe we were old enough for one of us to be getting married! Well, one year down the road Brianna has this beautiful little girl, Cambria Paige. I am in love with this baby. She is absolutely precious and I can't believe that I'm to the point where I'm taking pictures of my friend's baby! This was my first experience with a little baby and I learned alot from our little "mini-shoot". Cambria is absolutely beautiful.

A while ago I did some photos of a precious little boy Easton for my best friend's big sister and it was a blast... well, this time I got to do their whole cute little family and it was just as great. Fall is officially my new favorite time of the year for photos!

If you happen to go to the East Idaho State Fair this week make sure you stop by the Hobbies & Crafts building and check out my entries! It was my first year entering photos into the fair and I had a rough time picking which photos to use and I ended up with 6 that are now hanging on those walls. On Monday I got a chance to run to Blackfoot and scope them out and I was pleasantly surprised to find two blue and two pink ribbons hanging on my prints! Thanks so much to the great subjects I had in each of my pictures, I clearly couldn't have done it without you! A Contest of Sorts...

In about a week I will be moving back down to Provo, UT and I will be taking my business with me; however, my roommate Amanda and I are teaming up and making a business for both of us. Easton is 1 and absolutely adorable. I can't get enough of his little smile! Towards the end you can tell he got a little bit antsy but I had so much fun taking pictures of this little guy! Thanks Hillory for letting me use him for practice!

I have pictures to post, but have decided to wait a couple more days until I have my Photoshop up and running so I can brand my pictures with my copyright. Just be patient! But I am looking to fill up my weekends with some photoshoots so if you've been thinking that you need to get those senior/engagement/family/kids pictures done, let me know!
